About the game
In Gridlock Alchemy you draw the roads and the carts do the rest. Fire, water and air travel from springs to alembics to crucibles and beyond, becoming products that explode if they are not delivered in time. All of it is for the Philosopher's Stone, which turns everything to gold.
Build a network of over 1,000 carts and manage the flow with signs, lights, tunnels, teleporters and one-way streets. The bigger the network gets, the harder it is to keep it moving.
Bring friends to the Daily: the same land for everyone each day, played solo or with up to three friends, competing on a global leaderboard for the most efficient network.
Features
- A factory where the conveyor belts are roads: every ingredient is a cart you have to route.
- The Great Work: 49 steps across seven metals, from Lead to the Philosopher's Stone.
- Volatile cargo: Quicksilver and Pentacles explode if they sit in traffic too long.
- Stop signs, configurable traffic lights, roundabouts, tunnels, teleporters and one-way streets.
- New land arrives as pieces you choose and place.
- The Daily: one land a day for everyone, scored by a 10-minute run of your network from empty, with a global Steam leaderboard. In co-op for 2 to 4 players the team's score is its lowest player's share.
- 12 hand-made challenges with their own rules and bonus stars.
- Music composed live by the game, from Mozart's musical dice game.
- 16 languages.
